Your hosts at Blue Moon Antigua are Shonnie and Michael, who moved from North Carolina to Antigua in the Fall of 2005.
Shonnie worked as a physician's assistant in an emergency room in Winston-Salem before retiring to raise two daughters.  For over twenty years she also bred and showed Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Warmblood horses.

Michael, a Washington state native, has worked in property management, has spent spent twenty-two seasons fishing commercially in the waters of Kodiak and the Bering Sea, Alaska, and has recently spent six years teaching Honors and ESL biology in Winston-Salem.   He has taught general science and chemistry at Antigua’s Island Academy and served as the Academy’s K-12  Principal throughout the 2007-2008 school year.   His  current interests include natural history, genetics, music, birding, cooking, hiking and fishing. Michael is an avid reader.
